well i just wanna share my expereince,
i go my JR hondata ecu installed and at the same time got my mugen twin loop installed, should not have change two things at the same time, but i think the mugen exhuast gots to go!
well, with hondata everything was very good, with the mugen i thought it was a tad slower but the sounds it makes is awesome it not like my weedwacker muffler!
so i am going to the track with this natural high thinking i am going to break into the 13secs but boy was i ever disappointed!
i am doing consistant 14.7sec, really sucks! i was running consistant 14.3sec without these newer mod! i am thinking of getting ride of this mugen twin loop! once i find a nice straight through muffler, the mugen will be up on ebay.

What is your setup???
I doubt that the Mugen would actually restrict the system enough to create losses - and is the Hondata tuned?
The Mugen twin loop is NICE. If you are looking for decent flow and low noise, try RS*R - quiet, quality, and the exhaust tone is great... but If I had the Mugen, I'd stick with it.

sounds like you did not get the hondata tuned to your car ... ? gotta do that before you draw any conclusions.

well the hondata i got was from mossmotors, its comes with tuned maps, and i notice a immediate power differnce with and without it, so i think hondata is working fine, think the mugen is so much more restrictive.

What were you running for an exhaust before the Mugen?

While the base map you got is probably a good one, it still wasn't tuned on "your" car, and that can make a significant difference. Since you have a system that can be tuned to your car, you should consider taking it in for tuning. If the maps are indeed good for your car, then it shouldn't take long to confirm it or cost you much, and then you can look for other issues. If the maps aren't good, then what you pay to tune to your car should be worth it in improved performance.
Also, was there anything different about your slips other than the overall ET? Were your 60' times the same, was your trap speed the same, were weather conditions generally similar, was it the same track, etc? Are you sure there isn't another variable when you went to the track?
Don't get too frustrated right away, whenever you make changes it takes a little time to sort them out. Good luck.

I agree that you need to get it on the dyno. You could even try it with and w/o the Mugen.....we would all be interested in that. I have a Mugen TL and had thoughts of it being too restrictive prior to purchase. Because I added a Kami, 2.5" cat and mid-pipe at the same time, it is not possible to know how the Mugen contributed (or not) to power gain. All I know is that I did get a noticeable power gain (butt dyno). Also, you might be interested to know that John at LHT Performance (guy who has been quite successful with his intercooler set-up) has a JRSC'd B20 VTEC which pumps out a whopping 284 whp and he has a Mugen TL. Don't dismiss the MTL w/o doing a bit more testing and research.

thanks for the suggestions, the MTL sounds soooo nice to let go.
but any how, my 60ft times were ~2.3sec, fastest trap speed was 94.5mph @ 14.7sec on the 1/4 mile... when i was running 14.3sec on the 1/4 mile my 60ft were ~2.3sec, with 99mph trap speed!
nothign else was changed on the car, only hondata and MTL.
i am thinking its the MTL becuase my b16a3 motor is a high compression motor and that its can rev very high, up to 8.2K, that it makes most of it power high up the on the RPM band that it breath much more than other motors thus a little more restriction in the exhuast wil effect it much more than other motors- makes sense? maybe its just hondata! hahah

dude, its your hondata.
A mugen twin loop is 2 3/8 (at least for the integra it is). They make more power than any other 2 1/4 exhaust that I have seen. I highly doubt that it is restricting your car that much (over 20hp worth).
The computer is the major make and break mod you did. I would never install a computer or a piggy back at that, without dyno tuning. I spent 300 dyno tuning my first JRSC setup, and that wasnt even doing aything cpu/fuel cpu related.
I can pretty much guess you are running WAY too much fuel (i.e. you are way too rich) and the timing maps/timing is off for your setup.
Only answer is a dyno. When you do big boy mods, you got to do big boy things. not dynoing a car after a mod is restricted to bolt ons, IMO.
